The college named after Mr. Jayantibahi Dahyabhai bin Kalidas Patel, an alumnus of science faculty. Presently, He is a Non-resident of India (NRI) living in the USA. He has been running the business of motels in the US. He has also been in the business of manufacturing pharmaceutical products in Gujarat. He donated Rs .25,00,000/- .He has been taking keen interest in all curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities of the college. He pays regular visits to the college every year. During his visits, he meets the teachers as well as the students and receives feedback. His attachment and commitment to the college have been the fountain of inspiration.

Mr. Sureshbhai P. Patel, Vice-Chairman of the E.M.H.S. and the Late D.K.Patel Davolwala Education Trust is also an LIC Agent and vice-chairman of the Surya Mandir Trust.

Ms. Indira R. Shah, a retired lecturer, Dept. of Economics of this college, worked as a Lecturer in the college for thirty-four years. Apart from teaching, she enthusiastically worked in various committees of the college and availed her valuable share in the progress of the college.

Ms. Jaimini H. Patel has been working as a part-time lecturer in commerce in the college since 1993. She is a diligent teacher and works enthusiastically in various committees of the college also.

Mr. Shailesh H. Shah has been working as a full-time lecturer in Chemistry since 1994. Apart from being a hardworking and sincere teacher, he zealously does the co-curricular and extra-curricular works assigned to him. Lately he's been involved in Research Work, which is very useful to the society at large.
