The aforesaid two faculties of Arts and Commerce were established in 1964. The latter Science faculty was established in 1966, under the able leadership of its chairman Late Shri Ramanlal Dhanabhai Patel, a renowned advocate by profession in a place like Borsad, which is 17 Kms. away from Anand district Head Quarter.
For the last more than four decades the college has been a significant citadel of learning and several eminent persons, industrialists, businessmen or officers have cherished the fond memories of the college. The college has been on a fore front motivating the young generation to achieve and aspire for higher goals. Apart from the excellence in academic field, the college also lays its emphasize on overall growth and development of the youngsters. The college provides excellent atmosphere to grow in positive attitudes.
The huge college ground amply provides the sports facilities to students.
The overall results have always been excellent around more than 65% way ahead of the university results. The girl students of volley-ball team have won trophy of the south zone for four consecutive years. Our NCC students have been participating in National Parades in every alternate years. N.S.S. students have been selected for National Integration Camp at various national events.
The college faculty people and the administrative staff are always ready to involve themselves in nurturing, encouraging and realizing the potential of the young minds. Our college has earned highest 'B' Grade with 2.82 (CGPA) in the NAAC assessment & accreditation.
